PROJECT MEETING – POLAND “NATURAL FOOD”

The purpose of the meeting was to create awareness about how nature affects our well-being, to improve the human-nature relationship and to encourage participants to improve their behavior in nature.
The host school Szkola Podstawowa im.Orlat Lwowskich w Nowinach welcomed the partners schools from Greece, Italy, Slovenia and Turkey on the 27th of March.
There were presentations about “natural values and benefits to people” for example what we gain from our environment [salt caves, thermal water], what we gain from animals [hippotherapy, dog therapy], also to describe the benefits of ecofarms, there was presented the educational system of Poland and a lot of natural food workshops were held such as funny sandwiches and healthy plate.
Students and teachers visited the cathedral in Kielce; cave “Raj”, the royal castle in Checiny and of course Cracow.
Students and teachers played bowling, had a swimming pool activity, a karaoke night, an eco-dictionary was created and a strong friendship was established.
